1. Polylux– this is our standard crystal clear plastic + High UV
General purpose plastic used for early/ mid/ late production particularly in more northern climates.
2. Thermolux– this is our crystal clear high thermic plastic. Particularly used for early production which gives higher night time temp reducing frost risk
3. Kinglux– High diffusion
A cooling plastic and scatters the light spectrum for cooling crops and better light penetration in the tunnel during hotter periods/ climates
4. Superlux– high thermic high diffusion- Used for cooling at night and generally in hot climates. Not for crop forcing.
5. Violux– High diffusion, violet coloured plastic
Very effective cooling plastic type part in high UV situations. Only to be used on Strawberry crops
6. Milkylux– high diffusion milk coloured plastic
Very effective cooling plastic type part in high UV situations. Can be used on all crops.
All our plastic film has 3 main thicknesses- 150 micron, 180 micron and 200 micron ( higher microns are possible).
The Osprey plastic range is made with the highest quality mark and the guarantee is from 3 to 5 seasons. Optional extras can be added, like Sulphur resistance, anti-condensation, different colours, for example.
